Walking in Rockefeller Preserve

It had been too long since I walked in the woods so I grabbed a friend and we headed to something easy and quiet. Aside from the polite hellos of other hikers (and two on horses), there was a feeling of serenity. May we all have that in our lives.

    Ah the woods… my favorite place. Nothing like them for peace and serenity, yet alive with the sounds of nature.

      Thanks for all your comments. I’d been feeling the need to get into the woods for months now but couldn’t manage it. I think everyone could use a bit of peace and serenity.
