Happy Thanksgiving!

Up in the Adirondacks

There was the usual crazy mix of weather, flurries (although it’s obvious that Blue Mt. got more than that), buckets of rain, and one day of sun. Perfect weather to me. Enjoy.

And finally, on the way home…

Very nice pics. Nothing like being surrounded by mountains.

      I completely agree. 🙂

We took the Adirondack (Amtrak train) from Montreal to NYC last month and it was a lovely trip but the foliage hadn’t started changing. Ah well, it’s not a promise!

By the time I get there (around Halloween), it’s already winter and the colors are gone. I usually get to see them as I drive through the Catskills on my way up but not this year due to the heavy rain and fog. Still, beautiful in its own way.

But I’m surprised you didn’t see anything last month. I guess that’s a good excuse to go next year!
