This year I went a little upstate with a friend for the day. We had three goals: foliage watching, shopping, and eating at Gasho’s. We achieved all three and here are a few pictures to enjoy (I’ll spare you the shopping):
Gasho of Japan, a hibachi steakhouse (I had tilapia), is a beautiful place to eat.
And fun:
Very easy to watch the leaves drift down:
And finally:
Should you get the chance to be in a place where the leaves turn, spend a day watching. It’s one of the best shows we have.
Beautiful and glad you had a successful trip. As always Steven on my mind when I see pix like these – my last walk in the woods from Eastchester to Scarsdale, along the Bronx River Pkwy, was 5 years ago today. Keep writing and bringing beauty and intrigue to all.
I miss him still. I have a lot of good memories with him and the outdoors. Oh, and that time I dragged him to the Philly minis
show! 🙂
Sounds like a lovely, lovely day!
It really was.
