- Got trapped inside the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center after watching an opera. The only way out was to walk onto the stage. So now I can say I’ve been on stage at Lincoln Center. 🙂
- Went rock climbing one day to get over my fear of heights. Discovered it’s possible to be both terrified and bored at the same time.
- The only foreign country I’ve been to is Canada. (Sad, isn’t it?)
- I once taught high school—for 2½ months. All teachers deserve medals.
- I drove a volunteer ambulance one summer. Favorite part? Going through all the red lights, although I was disappointed to find out I still had to stop at them first. Nothing like the movies!
The first one is hilarious! Were there people in the audience? And did you bow or curtsy 🙂
No, there was no one there. LOL I was maybe 15 min. lagging behind others after the opera and no one checked to see if there were any stragglers. I got to the bottom of the staircase and was met by a gate that prevented me from getting to the doors. Walking on stage was desperation! LOL
You’ve got to get a passport. I was trapped in an empty building once – it was frightening!
Now that’s scary! As I walked out the stage door, I got the feeling the people at the desk were used to this happening.
I have a passport, needed one to fly to Canada. But I had never been through Customs before and when the agent questioned me as to why I was there, I almost replied, “What’s it your business?” before realizing that wouldn’t have been a good idea. LOL
