It’s been two years since I stepped inside a forest. More unusually, today I was alone. Walking onto the path of dirt and mud, leafy cover overhead, I had expected some coolness. But the humidity was still high and added a little to my anxiety as I stepped deeper into the woods.

I’m slowly adopting a very sweet girl named MeowMeow. Frankie is a bit grumpy about it all but I think it will be good for him. I hope to have her completely indoors by next week. But first she needs to have her claws trimmed and the scratching post hasn’t arrived yet.

No pics this week because she has a tendency to bump against me while I’m trying to take the pic.
